Hi class,
Here's a link to Canada's Links to the World GLOGSTER! It includes some important videos and information for our next social studies unit! Take a look and interact with the links and videos it will connect you too.
Have fun exploring :)

P.S. To my Colleagues:
My "Canada's Links to the World" learning object is a survey of the Canadian economy and the resources that are both imported and exported from within Canada. It would be used as an introductory exploration for students, in lieu of a handout, where they are able to interact with the content and gain a primal understanding of what the unit will focus on. It is also a tool that I would use to model Glogster to my students, as it is an effective way for students to present their assignments.
I really enjoyed making this online poster and it is a great tool that I will use for years to come (obviously with the world changing as quickly as it does I will have to update it with new information every year). These artifacts add to my technology portfolio and are a great interactive way to encourage future learning! Glogster is typically user-friendly, but does take some tinkering with in order to fully understand all of its capabilities. The artifacts it creates are easily published to the web and made readily accessible for students. They are also a great way to cut down on paper use in the classroom, thus being environmentally friendly. Glogster posters are useable for years to come and can be easily edited to keep up with the times.
Give Glogster a try and see the endless possibilities is can (AND WILL) yield! If you have any questions about using Glogster, please tweet me or comment on this page.
